Seller

The reproductions in the Prints section are sold by Émilie Tarascou, visual artist, Les Granges du Ourdou, 64260 Aste-Béon, France — SIRET 844 817 072 00011 — emilietarascou@hotmail.fr. VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

lobservable.com is published by the association L’Observable, which presents these prints but is not a party to the sale.

Scope

These terms apply to any order placed on lobservable.com by a consumer. Placing an order means accepting these terms, in the version online on the day of the order.

Products

Reproductions of Émilie Tarascou’s illustrations, printed on fine art paper (270gsm, or 250gsm where stated on the product page). On-screen colours may differ slightly from the print.

Prices

Prices are in euros, all taxes included (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Delivery within France is free.

Ordering and payment

Add prints to your cart, then pay by card on Stripe’s secure payment page. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed; a receipt is emailed to you. Your card is charged when you order.

Delivery

Delivery within France only, to the address given at checkout. Prints are shipped within one week of your order, by post; then allow for La Poste’s delivery time.

If your parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, write to emilietarascou@hotmail.fr (with a photo if damaged): the print will be sent again or refunded.

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to withdraw, without giving any reason (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). Let the seller know by email, for example with the form below, then return the prints in good condition within the following 14 days; return costs are yours.

You will be refunded, including the original delivery costs, within 14 days of your request, using the original payment method; the refund may be held back until the returned prints are received.

Withdrawal form (to send to emilietarascou@hotmail.fr): “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the sale of the following prints: […] — Ordered on […] / received on […] — Name: […] — Address: […] — Date: […]”.

Legal guarantees

The prints are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code) for two years from delivery, and by the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). If there is a defect, write to the seller: the print will be replaced or refunded.

Personal data

Order information is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Mediation and disputes

If there is a problem, please contact the seller first. If no agreement is reached, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: currently being appointed; their details will be given here shortly (article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code).

These terms are governed by French law.
